Composition

Meropenem (1000 Mg) + Sodium (90.2 Mg)

Merosure 1gm Injection is used to treat serious, life-threatening bacterial infections, including meningitis (a brain infection), severe pneumonia, and complicated abdominal or urinary tract infections, often in a hospital setting.

It contains meropenem, a carbapenem antibiotic that works by disabling the enzymes bacteria need to build their protective outer cell wall, causing the bacteria to die. It is given directly into a vein by a doctor.

This medicine is used entirely within the hospital setting, with the doctor monitoring for response to treatment and any signs of allergic reaction.
