Lynx 500 Capsule interacts with the following medicines:

• Neuromuscular blocking agents: If you're on medications like succinylcholine or tubocurarine to manage muscle spasms, Lynx 500 Capsule can amplify their effects, possibly leading to prolonged muscle weakness.
• Other antibiotics: Antibiotics like erythromycin, used for respiratory tract and skin infections, may have their effectiveness reduced when taken with Lynx 500 Capsule. The interaction could hinder the action of both antibiotics.

Lynx 500 Capsule interacts with the following foods:

• High fat meals: Consuming food, especially high-fat meals, can delay and decrease the absorption of lincomycin. Try to have a gap of atleast 4-5 hours in between taking any high fat meals such as processed food with cream, clarified butter or fatty meat and the medicine.

Lynx 500 Capsule interacts with the following diseases:

• Hypersensitivity: If you've had previous allergic reactions to lincomycin or similar antibiotics like clindamycin, you should avoid taking this medicine.
• Gastrointestinal disorders: Lincomycin can trigger a critical intestinal condition called pseudomembranous colitis. It's important to monitor for symptoms such as diarrhoea if you have a history of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Liver disease: People with liver disease should use this medicine cautiously as it could exacerbate their condition. Your doctor might need to adjust your dosage accordingly.

The daily dose of Lynx 500 Capsule should be as advised by your doctor. This varies based on the severity of your condition and your response to the medicine. Always stick to the dosage recommended by your doctor and never increase it.

If you've taken more Lynx 500 Capsules than prescribed, you might experience symptoms like severe nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. If these symptoms persist, notify your doctor.

In case you forget to take a dose of Lynx 500 Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and continue with your regular schedule. Don't increase the dosage without checking with your doctor.
