Loprapil 2 MG Capsule 10 interacts with the following medicines:

• Cholesterol-lowering medicines: Gemfibrozil and rosuvastatin can increase loperamide levels in your blood, potentially enhancing both its effects and side effects.
• Antifungal medication: Itraconazole and ketoconazole can raise loperamide levels, possibly leading to increased effects or side effects.
• Heart medications: Quinidine and procainamide can elevate loperamide levels, potentially causing side effects.
• Antiviral medications: Ritonavir and dolutegravir can increase loperamide levels, possibly enhancing effects or side effects.
• Diuretics: Desmopressin and indapamide may increase the risk of water intoxication when taken with Loprapil 2 MG Capsule 10.
• Antibiotics: Amoxicillin, ampicillin, cefixime, and clindamycin can cause antibiotic-associated diarrhoea when used with Loprapil 2 MG Capsule 10.

Loprapil 2 MG Capsule 10 interacts with the following diseases:

• Liver disease: If you have liver disease, use Loprapil 2 MG Capsule 10 with caution as it's extensively metabolised by the liver. Your doctor may need to adjust your dosage.
• Intestinal disorders: Loprapil 2 MG Capsule 10 should be avoided if you have abdominal pain without diarrhoea or constipation. It's also contraindicated in certain intestinal conditions, like acute ulcerative colitis and bacterial enterocolitis caused by Salmonella, Shigella, or Campylobacter.

The daily dose of Loprapil 2 MG Capsule 10 should be taken as instructed by your doctor. This may vary based on individual factors, such as the severity of your condition and your response to treatment. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and avoid exceeding it without consulting your doctor.

Overdosing on Loprapil 2 MG Capsule 10 may lead to common side effects such as constipation, dizziness, abdominal pain, or dry mouth. If you experience these symptoms persistently after taking more than the prescribed dose, inform your doctor.
