Livafin Lotion 30Ml

Livafin Lotion is used to manage the following conditions:

• Athlete's foot, also known as tinea pedis

• Jock itch or tinea cruris

• Ringworm of the body, known medically as tinea corporis

• Fungal infections of the hand, referred to as tinea manuum

Here's how you should apply Livafin Lotion:

• Begin by washing and drying the area where the lotion will be applied.

• Apply a thin layer of the lotion evenly onto the affected skin area.

• The application should be done once or twice daily or as directed by your doctor.

• Remember to wash your hands before and after application to prevent spreading the infection.

• Be careful to avoid contact with your eyes and mucous membranes during application.

• In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse thoroughly with water and consult your doctor.

Livafin Lotion is applied topically.

Livafin Lotion contains amorolfine (0.25 %), which works in your body in the following ways:

• Inhibits Key Enzymes: Amorolfine works by blocking two key enzymes involved in ergosterol biosynthesis - delta14-reductase and delta7-delta8-isomerase. Ergosterol is a vital part of fungal cell membranes.

• Alters Fungal Cell Membrane Permeability: By reducing ergosterol levels and letting toxic 14α-methylated sterols accumulate, amorolfine alters fungal cell membrane permeability. This causes leakage of cellular contents and eventually leads to cell death, helping to manage the infection effectively.

• Store Livafin Lotion in a cool, dry place, ideally below 30°C.

• Shield it from direct sunlight and heat.

• Keep the bottle tightly shut when not in use.

• Always ensure it's out of children's reach.

• If you're dealing with tinea infections such as athlete's foot or jock itch, make sure you keep your skin clean and dry, as dampness can aggravate fungal growth.

• Regularly change and wash your clothes, especially socks and underwear, to prevent fungal infections from spreading or recurring.
