GOODOVA L Tablet 5 is used to treat hormone-sensitive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It helps slow or stop the growth of breast cancer cells that rely on oestrogen and reduces the risk of cancer recurring.
It contains letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor. It works by decreasing the amount of oestrogen produced in the body. Take it with or without food as prescribed. Continue taking this medicine for the full duration recommended by your specialist.
Because this medicine can lower bone mineral density, supporting bone health is important during treatment. Your doctor may recommend regular weight-bearing exercises, a diet rich in calcium and vitamin D, and routine bone density checks.
Before starting, inform your doctor if you have a history of bone thinning (osteoporosis), severe liver problems, or high cholesterol. This medicine is intended only for women who have gone through menopause and must not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
