CompositionLCZ Tablet is used to relieve symptoms of allergic conditions such as hay fever, chronic hives and other allergic skin reactions. It contains levocetirizine, an antihistamine that blocks the natural chemical responsible for sneezing, itching and watery eyes.
Take this tablet as prescribed, with or without food, and swallow it whole with water. Continue taking it regularly during your allergy season, or for as long as your doctor advises, even if your symptoms have settled, to keep them under control.
Identifying and avoiding your specific allergy triggers, such as dust, pollen or pet dander, can help reduce how often you need this medicine. Keeping windows closed during high-pollen periods and washing bedding regularly may also ease symptoms.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, as your dose may need to be adjusted. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medicine affects you, as it can cause drowsiness. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
