Hirepa 0.5 Tablet may interact with the following medications:

• Lipid-regulating medications such as Gemfibrozil: The concomitant use may increase Repaglinide levels, leading to hypoglycemia.
• Beta-blockers such as Atenolol:  The concomitant use may mask hypoglycemia symptoms.
• NSAIDs such as Aspirin: The concomitant use may increase the risk of low blood sugar.
• Antifungal agents such as Ketoconazole and itraconazole: The concomitant use may affect metabolism.
• Oral contraceptives: The concomitant use may alter blood glucose levels.

• Grapefruit juice may increase the levels of Repaglinide in the blood, leading to an increased risk of hypoglycemia.

Hirepa 0.5 Tablet may interact with the following conditions:

• Liver disease: Increased risk of adverse effects due to impaired metabolism.
• Severe infections, surgery, or trauma: A patient taking repaglinide when exposed to stress such as fever, trauma, infection, or surgery, may experience a loss of control of blood glucose.

The doctor will determine the optimal dose based on your blood sugar levels, response to the treatment, and other medical conditions. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as age, the severity of the condition, and response to treatment.

An overdose of Hirepa 0.5 Tablet can cause severe hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), leading to symptoms such as excessive sweating, confusion, tremors, dizziness, and unconsciousness. If an overdose is suspected, consume sugar-containing foods or drinks and seek immediate medical attention.

If you miss a dose, take it before your next meal. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed one. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
