Hicet Tablet 10

Hicet Tablet is used to manage symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and watery eyes. It is also effective in reducing itching, redness, and swelling associated with chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives), helping improve comfort in allergic conditions.

To ensure effective use of Hicet Tablet, follow these guidelines:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid chewing or breaking it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Make sure to take it at the same time each day for optimal results.

• Always follow your doctor's advice on the duration of use.

• Do not stop taking the medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Hicet Tablet is taken orally.

Hicet Tablet contains cetirizine (10 mg), which has the following effects on your body:

• Antagonizes H1 Receptors: Cetirizine selectively targets H1 receptors in your body. These receptors are involved in triggering allergic reactions.

• Stabilizes Mast Cells: Apart from targeting H1 receptors, cetirizine also stabilizes mast cells in your system. Mast cells are immune cells that release histamine during allergic responses.

• Blocks Histamine Effects: By working on both H1 receptors and mast cells, cetirizine effectively blocks the effects of histamine—the chemical responsible for typical allergy symptoms like itching, sneezing, watery eyes and runny nose.

• Store your Hicet Tablet at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C.

• Shield the medicine from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date on the packaging before use, and discard any unused tablets after that date.
