Hhsalic Ointment 20gm may interact with the following medications:

• Other corticosteroids (e.g., clobetasone, hydrocortisone): The concomitant use increases the risk of systemic absorption and side effects.
• Topical acne treatments (e.g., benzoyl peroxide, tretinoin): The concomitant use can cause excessive skin irritation when used together.
• Topical antibiotics (e.g., bacitracin, mupirocin): The concomitant use may increase the risk of local irritation when used together.

 Hhsalic Ointment 20gm may interact with the following conditions:

• Acne vulgaris: Contraindicated as mometasone may worsen acne lesions and delay healing by suppressing local immune response.
• Skin atrophy: Contraindicated because prolonged use of topical corticosteroids like mometasone can further thin the skin and aggravate existing atrophy.
• Pustular or guttate psoriasis: Not recommended as corticosteroids may initially suppress lesions but can lead to rebound flare-ups or worsening of these forms of psoriasis.
• Viral skin infections (e.g., herpes, chickenpox): Contraindicated since corticosteroid-induced immunosuppression can promote viral replication and spread of infection.
• Fungal infections: Use is not advised as corticosteroids may mask symptoms and allow fungal infections to worsen or spread.
• Skin tuberculosis: Contraindicated because immunosuppressive effects may exacerbate the infection and delay appropriate treatment.
• Open wounds or ulcers: Should not be applied as it may delay wound healing and increase systemic absorption of the active ingredients.

Your doctor will determine the correct dosage of Hhsalic Ointment 20gm and duration depending on the severity of your condition. The ointment is typically applied once or twice daily.

Prolonged or excessive use of Hhsalic Ointment 20gm may cause thinning of the skin, skin irritation, or systemic absorption of corticosteroids. If you suspect overuse or accidental ingestion, consult your doctor immediately.

If you miss a dose of Hhsalic Ointment 20gm, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled application, skip the missed one and continue as usual. Do not apply extra ointment to make up for a missed dose.
