Hepamerz Infusion is used to lower raised ammonia in liver disease.

Uses of Hepamerz Infusion are:

• Hepatic Encephalopathy: Lowers raised ammonia to help relieve confusion and other nervous-system symptoms.
• Liver Cirrhosis Support: Supports ammonia processing to help manage complications of cirrhosis.
• Ammonia Clearance: Helps the body process and clear ammonia.

Hepamerz Infusion is given intravenously.

Hepamerz Infusion contains the following ingredients:

• L-ornithine L-aspartate (5 gm): It is an amino acid that stimulates ammonia detoxification by increasing the synthesis of urea in the liver. Furthermore, it serves ammonia detoxification in the tissues outside the liver.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from light and moisture.

• Reduce protein intake, especially animal proteins, as they can lead to increased ammonia levels.
• Eat smaller, more frequent meals to ease digestion and prevent liver overload.
• Ensure sufficient intake of vitamins (especially B-complex vitamins) and minerals like zinc and magnesium.
• Completely abstain from alcohol to prevent further liver damage.
