Grafeel 300mcg Injection is a medicine used to reduce the risk and duration of severe infections in patients receiving cancer chemotherapy or bone marrow transplantation. It is also used to treat severe chronic neutropenia and to mobilise blood stem cells for collection prior to transplantation.
It contains filgrastim, a recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF). It is administered as a subcutaneous injection or intravenous infusion by or under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Continue receiving injections as prescribed by your oncology care team.
Practising strict infection prevention measures, such as frequent hand washing, avoiding crowded places, and wearing protective masks, supports your immune recovery during treatment.
Before starting treatment, inform your care team if you have sickle cell disease, kidney problems, or a history of medicine allergies. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience left upper stomach pain, shoulder pain, fever, or sudden difficulty breathing.
