Goodova L 5 Tablet 5 is used to treat hormone-sensitive breast cancer in women after menopause, on its own or after surgery or radiotherapy to help prevent the cancer returning, and it is also used to help trigger ovulation in fertility treatment.
It contains letrozole, an aromatase inhibitor. It works by lowering the amount of oestrogen the body makes, which slows the growth of hormone-sensitive breast cancer.
Take it exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day, for the period your doctor advises.
When used for breast cancer it is for women after menopause. Tell your doctor about any bone-thinning or liver problems before use, as it can affect bone strength; your doctor may check your bones. Report persistent bone or joint pain.
