CompositionFusiderm-B Cream is used in managing inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis when bacterial infection is present. It combines a corticosteroid with an antibiotic.
The corticosteroid reduces inflammation, redness and itching, while the antibiotic clears the bacterial component of the infection, together relieving both the inflammation and the associated infection.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area, usually once or twice daily as your doctor advises, and use only for the recommended period, since prolonged use of a steroid-containing cream can thin the skin.
Avoid using on the face or in skin folds for extended periods unless specifically directed. Tell your doctor if the infection does not improve within the expected time, or if the skin becomes more irritated.
