Fole 150 Tablet 2 contains fluconazole (150 mg), which acts on your body in the following ways:

• Cytochrome P450 enzyme inhibition: Fluconazole works by inhibiting an enzyme in fungi called cytochrome P450 14α-demethylase. This enzyme is responsible for converting lanosterol to ergosterol.
• Disruption of fungal cell membrane: Fluconazole disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of the fungal cell membrane, by inhibiting the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol.
• Inhibition of fungal growth: This action causes an increase in the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, leading to a loss of essential cellular components and thus inhibiting fungal growth.
