Flokind Z Capsule 10 may interact with the following medicines:

• Blood pressure–lowering medicines (such as amlodipine, enalapril, losartan): Taking these together may cause an excessive drop in blood pressure, leading to dizziness, light-headedness, or fainting, especially when starting treatment or changing doses.
• Medicines affecting blood sugar levels (such as insulin or oral antidiabetic medicines): Deflazacort may reduce blood sugar control. Blood glucose monitoring may be needed in people with diabetes.
• Other alpha-blockers (such as prazosin, alfuzosin, doxazosin): Using more than one alpha-blocker at the same time can significantly increase the risk of low blood pressure and should generally be avoided.
• Medicines that suppress the immune system (such as methotrexate, azathioprine): When taken with deflazacort, the risk of infections may increase. Closer monitoring may be required.
• Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (such as ketoconazole, clarithromycin, erythromycin): These medicines may increase deflazacort levels in the body, raising the risk of corticosteroid-related side effects such as fluid retention, weight gain, or blood sugar changes.
• Medicines for erectile dysfunction (such as sildenafil, tadalafil): When taken with Flokind Z Capsule 10, these medicines may increase the risk of low blood pressure, dizziness, or fainting. Dose spacing or monitoring may be required.

Flokind Z Capsule 10 should be used with caution in the following conditions:

• Diabetes mellitus: The medicine may increase blood sugar levels and reduce glucose control. People with diabetes may require closer blood sugar monitoring during treatment.
• Active or recurrent infections: This medicine can suppress the immune response and may worsen existing infections or delay recovery. Use with caution if you have an ongoing infection or a history of frequent infections.
• Low blood pressure or postural hypotension: This medicine may cause a drop in blood pressure, especially when standing up suddenly. This can increase the risk of dizziness or fainting in susceptible individuals.
• Cataracts or glaucoma: Long-term or repeated use of corticosteroids such as deflazacort may worsen eye conditions. Inform your doctor if you have a history of cataracts or glaucoma.
• History of stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding: Corticosteroids such as deflazacort may increase the risk of stomach irritation or bleeding, especially with prolonged use.

The daily dose of Flokind Z Capsule 10 should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and duration depend on the severity of urinary symptoms, the need for anti-inflammatory treatment, and your overall health condition. Take the medicine regularly at the same time each day to achieve consistent benefit. Do not change the dose or duration on your own.

Taking more than the prescribed dose of Flokind Z Capsule 10 may lead to symptoms such as severe dizziness, a sudden drop in blood pressure, weakness, stomach upset, or steroid-related effects like swelling or changes in blood sugar levels. If an overdose is suspected, seek medical attention immediately.

If you miss a dose of Flokind Z Capsule 10, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
