Fixcof Cofgels Capsules 10 may interact with the following medicines:

• Other antihistamines (e.g., loratadine, cetirizine, fexofenadine): Taking multiple antihistamines together can increase drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, or blurred vision. Avoid combining unless specifically advised by your doctor.
• MAO inhibitors (e.g., phenelzine, tranylcypromine): May increase the risk of high blood pressure or severe side effects when used with phenylephrine. Inform your doctor if you are taking MAO inhibitors.
• Sedatives, sleep medicines, or alcohol: Can increase drowsiness and dizziness caused by chlorpheniramine. Avoid alcohol or sedative drugs while taking this capsule.
• Medications for heart conditions or high blood pressure (e.g., beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers): Phenylephrine may raise blood pressure or heart rate, requiring monitoring in sensitive patients.
• Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and other antidepressants (e.g., fluoxetine, sertraline, paroxetine, escitalopram): Concomitant use with dextromethorphan may increase serotonin levels in the body, raising the risk of serotonin-related side effects such as restlessness, confusion, rapid heartbeat, sweating, or tremors. • Glaucoma (angle-closure): Chlorpheniramine can increase intraocular pressure, worsening angle-closure glaucoma. Patients should consult an ophthalmologist before use.
• Prostate enlargement or urinary retention: Antihistamines like chlorpheniramine may worsen urinary retention, causing difficulty in urination. Seek medical advice if you notice new or worsening urinary symptoms.

Taking more than the prescribed amount may increase the likelihood of side effects such as drowsiness, confusion, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, nausea, or stomach discomfort. Seek medical help immediately if an overdose is suspected.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Never take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
