Composition

Febuxostat (40 Mg)

Feboxa 40 Tablet is used to manage long-term high uric acid in adults with gout, preventing painful attacks and protecting the joints from the damage caused by uric acid crystals.

It contains febuxostat, which reduces the amount of uric acid the body makes. It is taken regularly to keep uric acid down and is not a painkiller for a sudden attack.

Take it as prescribed and continue it long term. When you first start it, attacks can briefly increase, so your doctor may add another medicine to cover this period. Drink plenty of water.

Tell your doctor about any heart, liver or kidney problems before use. Report a skin rash, especially if it spreads, as serious skin reactions can rarely occur.
