CompositionDutajoy Tablet 15 is used to treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate (BPH), such as a weak urine stream, frequent urges to urinate (especially at night), and the feeling that the bladder isn't completely empty. It helps shrink the prostate gland over time, which improves urine flow and may reduce the need for future surgery.
This treatment contains Dutasteride, a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It works by blocking the production of a hormone (DHT) that causes the prostate gland to grow. By lowering the levels of this hormone, the prostate gradually shrinks, relieving the pressure on the urethra and making urination much easier and more comfortable.
This tablet should be swallowed whole once daily, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. It may take several months of consistent use to see the full benefit. Warning: This medication can be absorbed through the skin; pregnant women should not handle these tablets.
