This capsule contains Dutasteride, a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor. It works by blocking the production of a specific hormone (DHT) that causes the prostate gland to grow larger. By lowering DHT levels, the prostate gradually shrinks, which relieves the pressure on the tube (urethra) that carries urine out of the body.
This capsule should be swallowed whole once daily, with or without food. It may take several months of regular use to feel the full benefits.
