Donep-M Forte Tablet is used to manage moderate to severe dementia linked to Alzheimer's disease. It is a combination medicine containing donepezil (a cholinesterase inhibitor) and memantine (an NMDA receptor antagonist).
This medicine helps support memory, thinking and everyday functioning. Take it in the evening in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor. Continue it as advised, as benefits build up gradually and are judged by your doctor over time.
A regular routine, good sleep, balanced meals and gentle physical activity may help. Simple everyday tasks, reminders and staying socially engaged can support functioning, and a caregiver can help make sure the medicine is taken on time.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have a slow heart rate, seizures or stomach ulcers, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Report severe dizziness, fainting or unusual confusion promptly. Ask your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
