Donep Syrup 60ml

Donep Syrup is used to manage memory problems and thinking difficulties caused by mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia. It contains Donepezil, which works by increasing levels of a key chemical in the brain to improve memory and reasoning skills.

This helps reduce confusion, slows down the worsening of cognitive function, and is also used to address cognitive symptoms related to vascular dementia and Parkinson's disease dementia.

Follow these instructions while taking Donep Syrup:

• Use the measuring cup or device provided to ensure the correct dose.
• Take this medicine daily in the evening, just before bedtime.
• You may take it directly or mix with a small glass of water.
• Donep Syrup can be taken with or without food.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed after each use.
• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Donep Syrup contains donepezil (5 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Acetylcholinesterase Inhibition: Donepezil prevents an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase from breaking down acetylcholine in the brain. This helps increase levels of this important neurotransmitter, which is involved in memory, learning, and other cognitive processes.
• Increased Brain Communication: By maintaining higher levels of acetylcholine, donepezil enhances communication between nerve cells in the brain, which can help improve symptoms of dementia.
• Glutamate Modulation: Donepezil may help regulate glutamate, another neurotransmitter in the brain that plays a role in memory and learning functions.
• Amyloid Protein Regulation: The medicine may help regulate certain proteins called amyloid proteins that are associated with the progression of Alzheimer's disease.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed in its original container.
• Discard any unused portion one month after opening the bottle.
