Donep Syrup is used for the following:

• Treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease

• Management of memory loss in dementia

• Improvement of thinking and reasoning abilities

• Reduction of confusion in Alzheimer's patients

• Slowing cognitive decline in dementia

• Management of vascular dementia

• Addressing cognitive symptoms of Parkinson's disease dementia

Follow these instructions while taking Donep Syrup:

• Use the measuring cup or device provided to ensure the correct dose.

• Take this medicine daily in the evening, just before bedtime.

• You may take it directly or mix with a small glass of water.

• Donep Syrup can be taken with or without food.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed after each use.

• This medicine is sugar-based and needs caution for use in diabetic patients. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

• Consult your doctor for specific advice about your condition.

Donep Syrup is taken orally.

Donep Syrup contains donepezil (5 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Acetylcholinesterase Inhibition: Donepezil prevents an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase from breaking down acetylcholine in the brain. This helps increase levels of this important neurotransmitter, which is involved in memory, learning, and other cognitive processes.

• Store Donep Syrup at room temperature.
