Dompan Sr Tablet 15 is primarily used to treat:

• Managing symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease, where stomach acid backs up into the esophagus, causing discomfort.
• Erosive oesophagitis
• Peptic ulcers
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a condition marked by excessive acid production in the stomach

• Swallow the entire tablet without crushing or breaking it. 
• It is best to take this medicine about 30 minutes before having food.

Dompan Sr Tablet 15 is taken orally. 

Dompan Sr Tablet 15 contains the following components:

• Domperidone (30 mg): This ingredient blocks dopamine receptors in the digestive tract, improving gastrointestinal movement, aiding in stomach emptying, and reducing the risk of acid reflux.
• Pantoprazole (40 mg): As a proton pump inhibitor, this component blocks the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system (proton pump) in stomach lining cells, inhibiting the final step in acid production and thus reducing stomach acid levels.

The storage instructions for Dompan Sr Tablet 15 are as follows:

• Dompan Sr Tablet 15 should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid sitting for long stretches; take short breaks every hour to walk or stretch and help prevent acidity. 
• Limit foods high in fat, spicy dishes, chocolates, citrus fruits, pineapple, tomatoes, onions, garlic, tea, and soda. 
• Practice relaxation techniques like yoga or meditation to manage stress, as it can worsen acid reflux. Opt for loose clothing to reduce abdominal pressure and the risk of reflux. 
• Avoid lying down immediately after meals to prevent acid reflux. Regular exercise can help with weight management, lowering the risk of acid reflux. 
• Also, steer clear of smoking and alcohol, which can raise stomach acid levels and cause heartburn.
