CTZ Tablet is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis

• Allergic reactions to insect bites and stings

• Dust or pet allergies

• Chronic idiopathic urticaria: Also called hives, this is a skin condition characterised by red, itchy welts or bumps.

When taking CTZ Tablet, follow these instructions:

1. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

2. Do not crush or chew the tablet as this may alter its effectiveness.

3. The tablet can be taken with or without food, but try to take it at the same time each day for best results.

4. Always consult your doctor if you feel the need to adjust your dosage.

CTZ Tablet is taken orally.

The main ingredient in CTZ Tablet is cetirizine hydrochloride. It works in the human body in the following manner:

• Cetirizine hydrochloride (10 mg) works by selectively inhibiting histamine activity in the body.

• Histamine is a chemical your body produces during an allergic reaction.

• By blocking histamine, the medicine helps reduce inflammation and irritation caused by the chemical, thereby reducing allergy symptoms.

1. Store your CTZ Tablet at a consistent room temperature, below 30°C.

3. Make sure the medicine is kept in a place where children cannot access it.

4. Always check the expiry date on the label and use the tablet before this date.

• Since CTZ Tablet is used to manage allergies, try to identify and avoid any foods or substances that trigger your allergic reactions.

• Maintain healthy indoor air quality. Regularly clean your home to remove dust mites, pet dander, or other allergens.

• For managing skin allergies like hives, wear loose, cotton clothing to prevent skin irritation.

• Keep your skin moisturised and avoid harsh soaps or detergents that can dry out your skin and worsen itching.

• Hydrate well by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. This can help keep your skin hydrated and may reduce itching and irritation.
