Coversyl AM 8 mg/5 mg Tablet 10 is used to manage high blood pressure and stable coronary artery disease in adults already controlled with both ingredients. It is a combination antihypertensive medicine containing perindopril and amlodipine, an ACE inhibitor and a calcium channel blocker.
This medicine is used as replacement treatment when the separate ingredients are already suitable for the patient. Swallow it whole, preferably before a meal, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Reducing salt and staying physically active as advised can support blood pressure and heart health alongside this medicine.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney, liver or heart problems, low blood pressure or previous swelling of the face or throat, and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. This medicine must not be used during pregnancy; ask your doctor about breastfeeding. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
