Codistar DX Syrup is used to relieve a dry cough.

Uses of Codistar DX Syrup are:

• Dry Cough: Calms the cough reflex to ease a dry, hacking cough.
• Throat Irritation: Soothes an irritated throat.
• Allergy Symptoms: Relieves sneezing, a runny nose and watery eyes.

• Use a measuring cup to ensure an accurate dosage, and take it orally. Remember to shake the syrup well before use.
• You can take Codistar Dx Sugar Free Syrup 60ml with or without food, but it is recommended each day at the same fixed time. 

Codistar Dx Sugar Free Syrup 60ml is taken orally.

Codistar Dx Sugar Free Syrup 60ml contains the following components:

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (4 mg): It is an antihistamine that obstructs the action of histamine, a chemical produced by the body in reaction to allergens or irritants. Histamine is responsible for causing sneezing, runny nose, and itching. 
• Dextromethorphan (10 mg): It is a cough suppressant (antitussive) that works on the cough centre in the brain. It helps suppress the cough reflex, reducing the frequency and intensity of coughing. This allows the body to recover and heal while providing relief from constant coughing.

The storage instructions for Codistar Dx Sugar Free Syrup 60ml are as follows:

• Codistar Dx Sugar Free Syrup 60ml should be stored at room temperature below 30°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Avoid processed or refined foods like baked goods, fried foods, white bread, white pasta, french fries, sugary desserts, and chips. Instead, opt for nutrient-rich green leafy vegetables.
• Drink plenty of fluids to prevent a dry throat and help loosen mucus. Adequate hydration can ease cough symptoms.
• Avoid citrus fruits, as they might worsen the cough. Instead, choose fruits with high water content, such as pears, watermelons, peaches, and pineapples.
