Cloviva F 0.05/2 % Cream 10 Gm is used to treat bacterial skin infections and manage associated inflammation, itching and redness. It is a combination medicine containing clobetasol (a corticosteroid) and fusidic acid (an antibiotic).
It helps reduce inflammation and treats bacterial skin infections, relieving mixed or inflamed skin conditions. Apply a thin layer to the affected area, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and use it only for the recommended period.
Keep the affected skin clean and dry and wear loose, breathable clothing.
Avoid using it on the face or in skin folds for long periods unless directed, as prolonged use of a steroid-containing cream can thin the skin. Before using it, tell your doctor about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you use. Tell your doctor if the infection does not improve or the skin becomes more irritated. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
