Closol 0.05 % Ointment 20 GM

Closol 0.05 % Ointment 20 GM is used for managing skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, atopic dermatitis, and contact dermatitis. It also treats seborrheic dermatitis, lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus skin lesions, and neurodermatitis by reducing inflammation and itching, helping to promote healthier skin.

• Ensure the affected area is thoroughly clean and dry before application.
• Take a small amount of Closol 0.05 % Ointment 20 GM and apply a thin layer over the affected skin area. Use your fingertips to rub the ointment in gently until it is completely absorbed.
• Unless specifically advised by your doctor, refrain from using bandages or dressing over the treated area, as this can increase the risk of adverse effects.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after application, unless the hands are the area being treated.

Closol 0.05 % Ointment 20 GM contains 0.05% clobetasol propionate as its active ingredient, a potent corticosteroid that works in the following ways:

• It binds to specific receptors in skin cells. • Keep away from direct heat and sunlight, ensuring a dry and cool place.
• Always keep the medicine out of reach of children.
• Be sure to use this medicine before its expiration date.

• Apply a hypoallergenic, fragrance-free moisturiser regularly to combat dryness and prevent skin from cracking.
• Protect your skin from the sun by wearing sunscreen and protective clothing, as UV rays can worsen skin conditions.
• Resist the urge to scratch, as it can worsen inflammation and lead to complications. Keep nails short to minimise damage from scratching.
• Limit exposure to environmental irritants and allergens that can trigger or worsen your skin condition.
