This syrup contains Levodropropizine, a peripheral cough suppressant, and Chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine. Levodropropizine works on the cough receptors in the respiratory tract (not the brain) to reduce the intensity and frequency of coughs, while Chlorpheniramine helps reduce allergic symptoms like irritation and sneezing.
Measure the dose carefully and take it as prescribed, usually three times a day. It is most effective when taken after food.
