Cartiquin 200 Tablet 15 is used for the prophylaxis and management of uncomplicated malaria caused by P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale, and P. malariae. It is also used to manage rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in adults. Additionally, it has off-label uses for managing discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) and porphyria cutanea tarda.

Follow these instructions while taking Cartiquin 200 Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Always take this medicine with food or milk to minimise discomfort in your stomach.

Cartiquin 200 Tablet 15 works in the body via hydroxychloroquine sulphate (200 mg). The mechanisms of action are as follows:
