Carca CR 20 Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• CYP2D6 inhibitors: Medicines like quinidine, fluoxetine, and paroxetine may increase carvedilol levels in your blood, potentially enhancing its effects and side effects.

• Antihypertensive medicines: When taken with other blood pressure medicines like amlodipine or lisinopril, this medicine may cause excessive lowering of blood pressure.

• Cardiac glycosides: Carvedilol may increase digoxin levels, potentially leading to digoxin toxicity with symptoms like nausea and irregular heartbeat.

• Cyclosporine: This medicine may increase cyclosporine (an immunosuppressant) levels in the blood, potentially raising the risk of side effects.

• Anti-diabetic medicines: Carvedilol may enhance the blood sugar-lowering effect of insulin and medicines like metformin, potentially causing hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar).

Carca CR 20 Tablet should not be taken with grapefruit juice.

• Grapefruit juice: May increase the concentration of carvedilol in your blood, potentially enhancing both its effects and side effects.

Carca CR 20 Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Bronchial asthma: This medicine can worsen asthma symptoms by causing bronchospasm (narrowing of airways).

• Diabetes mellitus: Carvedilol may mask symptoms of low blood sugar and affect blood glucose control.

• Liver disease: People with severe liver problems may experience increased medicine effects due to reduced medicine breakdown.

• Heart conduction disorders: This medicine can worsen conditions like AV block or sick sinus syndrome.

• Peripheral vascular disease: Carvedilol may worsen symptoms of poor circulation in the limbs.

The daily dose of Carca CR 20 Tablet should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Dosage may vary based on your condition's severity and how you respond to treatment. Always follow your doctor's instructions and never exceed the prescribed dose.

An overdose may cause dizziness, extremely slow heart rate (bradycardia), very low blood pressure (hypotension), feeling faint, difficulty breathing, or unusual tiredness. Contact your doctor if you experience these symptoms .

If you forget to take this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Never take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
