Carca CR 10 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure and heart failure. It contains carvedilol, a beta-blocker with additional blood-vessel-relaxing properties.
Carvedilol works by steadying the heart rate, easing the heart's workload, and relaxing blood vessels, which together help lower blood pressure, reduce heart strain, and support proper heart function, easing symptoms such as fatigue and shortness of breath in heart failure.
Take this controlled-release tablet as prescribed, swallowed whole with water, and do not crush or chew it. Take it exactly as your doctor prescribes, generally with food to reduce dizziness.
Do not stop this medicine suddenly, as this can worsen heart failure or trigger chest pain; any change in dose should be made gradually under medical supervision. Tell your doctor if you have asthma or a very slow heart rate, and report any swelling of the ankles, fainting, or worsening breathlessness.
