Brivazen 50 Tablet is used to manage partial-onset seizures by stabilizing abnormal brain activity. It can be used alone or in combination with other anti-epileptic medications to control seizure episodes. Brivazen 50 Tablet contains brivaracetam (50 mg), which impacts your body in the following manner:

• Binds to SV2A Protein: Brivaracetam works by binding to a specific protein in your brain called synaptic vesicle protein 2A (SV2A). SV2A is believed to play a significant role in the release of neurotransmitters from vesicles in the brain.

• Reduces Abnormal Electrical Activity: By binding to SV2A, brivaracetam is thought to help reduce abnormal electrical activity in the brain that leads to seizures. This action helps decrease the hyperexcitability that often causes seizures.

• Prevents Spread of Seizure Activity: The binding of brivaracetam to SV2A also helps prevent the spread of seizure activity across the brain, making seizures more manageable.
