Blocid I 20/150 Mg Capsule Sr 10 is used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcers by managing both acid production and stomach movement. It combines rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, with itopride, a prokinetic medicine.
This sustained-release capsule helps ease reflux, bloating and indigestion. Take it before a meal, generally in the morning, exactly as your doctor prescribes, swallowing it whole.
Eating smaller meals and avoiding lying down soon after eating can help support treatment alongside this medicine.
Long-term use of the rabeprazole component can affect magnesium and vitamin B12 levels, so tell your doctor if you notice unusual tiredness, muscle cramps or tingling. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
