Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet is used to manage bacterial infections in the lungs, ear, sinuses, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissues. It is also effective for dental, joint, and bone infections. Symptoms of infections include fever, pain, difficulty breathing, and pus formation.

• You should take this medication exactly as prescribed. 
• Don't mash it, shatter it, or chew on it. 
• You should take your Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet with a meal.

Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet should be administered orally.

Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet comprises two medications, Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. These work together to destroy bacteria that cause infections. Amoxycillin acts by inhibiting bacterial growth. However, clavulanic acid decreases resistance and increases amoxycillin's antibacterial effectiveness.

• When taking Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet, avoid taking antacids within 2 hours before or after consuming the tablet.
