CompositionAngivex 2.6 Tablet Sr 30 is used for the long-term prevention of angina (chest pain) in adults with coronary artery disease. It is a single-ingredient nitrate medicine containing glyceryl trinitrate.
It reduces how often angina attacks occur and is not meant to relieve a sudden attack. Swallow the tablet whole, in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue it even when you feel better.
Eat a balanced diet low in saturated fat, stay as active as your doctor advises, quit smoking and maintain a healthy weight.
Never take it with medicines for erectile problems such as sildenafil, as together they can cause a serious drop in blood pressure. Tell your doctor about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Seek medical help promptly if chest pain becomes more frequent or severe, or occurs at rest. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
