Anescaine 2 % Gel 30 Gm is used to provide temporary local pain relief by numbing the skin and mucous membranes. It helps relieve pain, burning, and itching caused by minor cuts, burns, insect bites, piles, and anal fissures.
It contains lidocaine, a local anaesthetic that blocks pain signals in the treated area. It is also applied before certain procedures, such as dental work, catheter insertion, or minor surgery, to reduce discomfort. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as prescribed, and avoid using it on broken or infected skin unless your doctor advises.
Simple measures support treatment. Keep the treated area clean and dry between applications, and use only the amount your doctor advises, especially over larger areas.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any known allergy to local anaesthetics, or if you plan to use it on a large area of broken skin. Report any severe irritation, swelling, or an allergic reaction.
