Adlena C 0.1/1% Ointment 15gm is used to treat acne, pimples, and clogged pores. It helps reduce blackheads, whiteheads, and inflammation, improving skin texture and preventing new breakouts. This gel is effective for mild to moderate acne and promotes clearer, healthier-looking skin when applied regularly as directed.

• Ensure the affected skin area is clean and dry before applying the gel.
• Apply a thin gel layer on the affected area using your fingertip or a clean cotton swab.
• The amount needed will depend on the size of the affected area. A pea-sized amount is often enough for your face.
• Gently massage the product onto your skin.

Adlena C 0.1/1% Ointment 15gmconsists of two active ingredients:

• Clindamycin (1%): A lincosamide antibiotic, clindamycin inhibits protein synthesis in bacteria by binding to specific parts of bacterial cells called 50S ribosomal subunits. It is effective against Propionibacterium acnes, a bacterium associated with acne development.
• Adapalene (0.1%): This retinoid-like compound works by binding to specific receptors in your skin cells called retinoic acid receptors (gamma and beta). These receptors play a crucial role in controlling skin cell growth and inflammation, both of which are involved in acne development. Adapalene's action leads to reduced formation of microcomedones (tiny skin blockages), one of the first stages of acne lesion development, and decreased skin inflammation.
