Actafur 125 MG Tablet Dt 10

Covatil 125mg Tablet DT is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Infections of the respiratory tract, including bronchitis, pneumonia, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and sinusitis
• Urinary tract infections
• Skin and soft tissue infections
• Early stage of Lyme disease
• Gonorrhoea

Follow these instructions while taking Covatil 125mg Tablet DT:

• Disperse the tablet completely in water or orange juice before drinking. 
• Avoid chewing or swallowing the tablet whole.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Always take this medicine as directed by your doctor.

Covatil 125mg Tablet DT is taken orally.

Covatil 125mg Tablet DT contains cefuroxime (125 mg) which works on the body as follows:

• Bacterial cell wall synthesis inhibition: Cefuroxime inhibits the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall. This action is carried out by binding to and inactivating penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) found inside the bacterial cell wall. The weakening of the cell wall leads to cell lysis, causing death of the bacteria.

• Store Covatil 125mg Tablet DT in a dry place, shielded from light and moisture.
• The ideal storage temperature is 15-30°C.
• Keep this medicine out of the reach of children to ensure their safety.
• Use Covatil 125mg Tablet DT before the expiry date printed on the package for maximum effectiveness.

• Hydrate well: If you're managing urinary tract infections with Covatil 125mg Tablet DT, aim to drink plenty of fluids, particularly water, to help flush bacteria out of your urinary system.
• Focus on nutrition: When dealing with respiratory tract infections, boost your immune system with a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and whole grains. This will assist your body in fighting off bacterial infections.
