Zix Mr 8 Tablet 10

Zix MR 8 Tablet is used to manage acute pain, stiffness, and inflammation associated with painful muscle spasms and musculoskeletal conditions in adults.

Uses of Zix MR 8 Tablet are:

• Muscle Spasm Relief: Reduces severe muscle spasms, pain, and associated joint or back stiffness.
• Low Back and Neck Pain: Alleviates painful conditions affecting the lower back and neck regions.
• Sprains and Strains: Helps ease pain and swelling caused by muscle strains, ligament sprains, and sports injuries.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet

• Always take your medicine with food

• Do not exceed the dose your doctor has recommended for you

Zix Mr 8 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Zix Mr 8 Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Aceclofenac (100 mg): It is an NSAID with analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It works by selectively blocking an enzyme known as cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). This enzyme is involved in making prostaglandins, which are substances that cause pain, inflammation, and fever in our bodies. By blocking COX-2, aceclofenac reduces the production of these prostaglandins, helping to reduce pain and inflammation at the site of injury or muscle spasm.

• Thiocolchicoside (8 mg): As a muscle relaxant, thiocolchicoside acts like a chemical in our bodies called GABA. It binds to GABA receptors and boosts their inhibitory effects, leading to a reduction in muscle spasms and stiffness. Besides its muscle-relaxing effects, thiocolchicoside also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
