How Aceclofenac + Thiocolchicoside works

  • Aceclofenac + Thiocolchicoside combination is a pain reliever.
  • Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits the cyclooxygenase-2 enzyme, which is involved in the production of prostaglandins. These chemical messengers are key to inflammation, pain, and fever. By blocking the action of cyclooxygenases-2 enzyme, aceclofenac reduces the inflammation, pain, and fever associated with musculoskeletal disorders, joint pain, and injuries.
  • Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that acts on the central nervous system. It makes a chemical called GABA work better, which calms down the nerves and helps muscles to loosen up, reducing spasms.
