XPect-B Syrup is used in adults to relieve chest congestion and a productive cough associated with conditions such as bronchitis, asthma and COPD.

Uses of XPect-B Syrup are:

• Chest Congestion: Thins thick mucus so it is easier to clear from the airways.
• Productive Cough: Relieves a cough with mucus and supports easier breathing.

Administer XPect-B Syrup as follows:

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• This medicine is sugar-free but contains sorbitol, which could affect blood sugar levels. If you have diabetes, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

• Always remember to cap the bottle tightly after use to maintain its effectiveness.

XPect-B Syrup is taken orally.

XPect-B Syrup contains four active ingredients:

• Ambroxol (30 mg): This ingredient reduces the thickness of mucus in your airways by increasing surfactant production in your lungs. It also stimulates cilia movement, which helps remove mucus from your airways.

• Terbutaline (1.25 mg): Terbutaline acts on beta-2 receptors in your lungs, relaxing the smooth muscles in your airways and leading to their dilation. This makes it easier for you to breathe by allowing air to flow more freely in and out of your lungs.
