Vertistar-MD 16 Tablet is used to relieve dizziness, tinnitus, and balance problems associated with Ménière's disease and other inner-ear disorders. It helps reduce the frequency and severity of vertigo attacks and improves day-to-day stability.
It contains betahistine, a histamine analogue that improves blood flow to the inner ear and helps reduce fluid pressure in the labyrinth. This eases the symptoms of Ménière's disease over time with regular use.
Take the tablet with food, ideally after meals, to reduce the chance of stomach upset. Follow the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor, as the benefits build gradually with regular use.
Headache and mild stomach discomfort are the most Common side effects and usually improve with continued use. Tell your doctor about any history of asthma, stomach ulcers, or pheochromocytoma before starting this medicine.
