Veltam-S Tablet is used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men, including frequent urination, a weak urine stream and incomplete emptying of the bladder.
It contains tamsulosin, an alpha-blocker that relaxes the prostate and bladder neck, and solifenacin, an antimuscarinic that reduces involuntary bladder contractions. Take it as prescribed, usually once daily.
Reducing caffeine and alcohol in the evening, and avoiding drinking large amounts of fluid before bedtime, can help reduce night-time trips to the bathroom alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any prostate cancer concerns, glaucoma, or difficulty emptying your bladder completely. Report any dizziness on standing, blurred vision or difficulty passing urine.
