CompositionVDM Forte Vaginal Capsule is used to treat mixed vaginal infections in adult women, including bacterial vaginosis, vulvovaginal candidiasis (yeast infection) and trichomoniasis. It helps clear the infection and relieve associated discharge, itching and irritation.
It contains clindamycin, an antibiotic, along with clotrimazole, an antifungal, and tinidazole, an antiprotozoal, which work together against different infection-causing organisms. Insert the capsule vaginally as prescribed. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early, to make sure the infection is fully cleared.
Good hygiene supports treatment alongside this medicine. Avoid sexual intercourse until treatment is complete, wear breathable cotton underwear, and avoid vaginal douching, as this can disturb the natural bacterial balance.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any allergies to antibiotics or antifungals, or if you are taking other medicines. Report any severe irritation, worsening discharge or fever to your doctor. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
