Tolmax Tablet 10

Tolmax Tablet 10 is used for the following conditions:

• Relief from painful muscle spasms associated with neurological disorders
• Management of spasticity in cases of stroke
• Control of muscle spasms caused by spinal cord injury
• Alleviating muscular stiffness in multiple sclerosis
• Reduction of muscle tension in Parkinson's disease
• Easing muscle contractions for patients with cerebral palsy
• Helping with muscle rigidity in cases of traumatic brain injury

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.
• Always take this medicine during or after meals to reduce stomach upset.
• Do not take more than prescribed by your doctor.
• Continue taking the medicine for the full course, even if your symptoms improve. Stopping too early may cause the symptoms to return.
• If there's no improvement after a few weeks, consult your doctor.

Tolmax Tablet 10 contains Tolperisone (150 mg) which acts on the body in the following ways:

• Blocks Sodium and Calcium Channels: Tolperisone interferes with voltage-gated sodium and calcium channels in neurons. This action hinders the release of neurotransmitters that trigger muscle contraction.
• Inhibits Spinal Reflexes: This medication also suppresses polysynaptic reflexes in the spine which are involved in muscle contraction and spasticity.

• Protect the medicine from light and moisture.
• Always keep the medicine away from children and pets.
