Tolperisone

Tolperisone is a muscle relaxant used to treat increased muscle tone and spasms associated with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

• Tolperisone works through multiple mechanisms. It blocks sodium and calcium channels in the spinal cord, reducing the excitability of nerves that control muscle contractions. By dampening these nerve signals, it decreases abnormal muscle tone and suppresses involuntary muscle spasms.
