TIMITROL EYE DROPS 5ML are used to lower raised pressure within the eye (intraocular pressure) in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, to help protect the optic nerve and prevent vision loss.
It contains timolol, an ophthalmic beta-blocker. Apply as directed by your doctor, usually one drop into the affected eye. Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.
Attending regular follow-up appointments to monitor eye pressure supports effective treatment alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor about any asthma, heart conditions or breathing problems before starting, as timolol eye drops can enter the bloodstream and cause systemic effects. Report any sudden changes in vision, eye pain or marked changes in heart rate.
