Texara Forte 0.10 % Cream 15 GM is used to:

• Treat acne vulgaris
• Manage stable plaque psoriasis affecting limited skin areas
• Reduce the formation of acne lesions
• Improve skin texture affected by abnormal skin cell buildup

Follow these instructions while using Texara Forte 0.10 % Cream 15 GM:

• Use the cream exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• Clean and dry the affected skin gently before application.
• Apply a thin layer over the affected area, usually once daily in the evening unless advised otherwise.
• Avoid applying to broken, irritated, or sunburned skin.
• Wash your hands after application.
• Avoid excessive sun exposure and use sunscreen and protective clothing during treatment, as the skin may become more sensitive to sunlight.

Texara Forte 0.10 % Cream 15 GM is applied topically.

Texara Forte 0.10 % Cream 15 GM contains the following active component:

• Tazarotene (0.1%): This is a topical retinoid that is converted in the skin to its active form, which binds to specific retinoic acid receptors. This action helps normalise skin cell growth and reduce inflammation, leading to reduced pore blockage in acne and improved thickened or scaly skin seen in psoriasis.

• Store Texara Forte 0.10 % Cream 15 GM at room temperature below 25°C.
• Keep the tube tightly closed after use.
• Protect from heat and direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after expiry.

• Avoid harsh skin products: Strong soaps, exfoliants, or alcohol-based products may worsen skin irritation during treatment.
• Maintain a gentle skin care routine: Using mild cleansers and moisturisers helps reduce dryness and irritation associated with treatment.
• Avoid picking or squeezing acne lesions: This may worsen inflammation and increase the risk of scarring.
• Maintain overall skin hygiene: Regular gentle cleansing helps support treatment effectiveness.
