TenoHep-Af Tablet is used for:

• Managing chronic hepatitis B virus infection in adults
• Use in adolescents aged 12 and above with compensated liver disease
• Management of hepatitis B in patients resistant to other antiviral medications
• Use for those who have experienced side effects from previous hepatitis B treatments

You should take TenoHep-AF Tablet as follows:

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• Always take this medicine with food.
• Continue taking this medicine for as long as your doctor instructs.
• If you have any doubt, consult your doctor for specific advice.

TenoHep-AF Tablet is taken orally.

TenoHep-AF Tablet contains Tenofovir Alfenamide (25 mg) which works on your body in the following ways:

• Inhibits HBV reverse transcriptase: Tenofovir Alfenamide blocks the activity of an enzyme in your body called HBV reverse transcriptase. This enzyme is essential for the replication of the hepatitis B virus.
• Reduces viral load: By blocking the HBV reverse transcriptase enzyme, Tenofovir Alfenamide prevents the production of new viruses. This results in a reduction of the viral load within your body, which helps in managing the infection.

• Keep TenoHep-AF Tablet in its original packaging.
• Store at room temperature, not exceeding 30°C.
