Telura Tablet 30 can interact with the following medicines:

• Antiepileptic medicines: Medicines like carbamazepine and phenytoin may reduce the effectiveness of efavirenz in Telura Tablet 30, potentially leading to treatment failure.

• Antifungal medicines: Itraconazole and ketoconazole levels may be decreased when taken with Telura Tablet 30, reducing their effectiveness against fungal infections.

• Hepatitis C medicines: Concurrent use with medicines like sofosbuvir or ledipasvir may alter the effectiveness of both treatments or increase side effects.

• Antacids: Aluminium or magnesium-containing antacids may decrease the absorption of tenofovir when taken together with Telura Tablet 30.

• Herbal supplements: St. John's Wort can significantly reduce the levels of efavirenz in your blood, making Telura Tablet 30 less effective against HIV.

Telura Tablet 30 should be taken on an empty stomach for optimal absorption.

• High-fat meals: Taking Telura Tablet 30 with fatty foods may increase efavirenz levels in your blood, potentially causing more side effects.

• Grapefruit: May interfere with how your body processes efavirenz, increasing the risk of side effects.

Telura Tablet 30 can interact with the following diseases:

• Hepatitis B infection: Stopping Telura Tablet 30 may cause severe worsening of hepatitis B in patients who have both HIV and hepatitis B.

• Kidney disease: Tenofovir in Telura Tablet 30 may worsen kidney function in patients with existing kidney problems.

• Liver disease: Patients with liver problems may experience more severe side effects as the liver processes all three medicines in Telura Tablet 30.

• Psychiatric disorders: Efavirenz may worsen symptoms in patients with depression or other mental health conditions.

The daily dose of Telura Tablet 30 should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The dosage may change based on individual factors such as your condition severity and response to treatment. Always follow the prescribed dosage without exceeding it.

Taking too much of this medicine may cause increased nausea, dizziness, headache, fatigue and sleep disturbances. You might also experience more intense stomach problems like vomiting and diarrhoea. Contact your doctor if you take too much.

If you forget to take Telura Tablet 30, take it as soon as you remember. If it's nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and resume your regular schedule. Never take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
